To meet the ADA standards for bathroom grab bars:

• A grab bar no less than24"long should be installed on both the back wall and control end wall ofbathtub enclosures.
• No less than two grab bars are required forshower stalls, all33" to 36" from the floor.
• Various sizes meet the needs for mobilityaround your bathroom. The bigger your shower area is, the longer the grab bar length you'll need.
